Personality:

In general, Emma is a very happy child and has always been. When she was a little baby Rachel, her mother, had a little trouble making her laugh and the only thing which made her laugh was her singing 'Baby Got Back' - ever since then this song has made her laugh, and hard. Rachel and Ross don't play it for her anymore though as it is getting inappropriate.. She knows the song by heart though, already and so, when she's glum she sings it. Well, today that problem, with making Emma laugh, doesn't really exist. Mother, Rachel, and Father, Ross, can make her laugh almost any time now. The one making her laugh the most though is her 'uncle' Joey. He's the funniest, and Emma loves to play with him.

Emma can be pretty shy at first, especially when there are strangers in the room, and she hides a lot behind her mother. Though, when she gets used to people she can be rather jumpy. She's a very happy child and she loves to run around and play - she spends most of her day playing around with her various uncles and aunts, and of course half-brother, first cousins and parents. She's a wee bit impish, she can be rather naughty when it comes to it. For example, she likes to hide from her parents, of course just for the fun of it, when they come home or come pick her up from Aunt Phoebe's house, or something like that. She likes teasing others.

Bio:

Emma Green Geller was born on May 16 to Ross Geller and, at that time, Rachel Green. She was the first and, right now, also the only child of the two. Before the name 'Emma' was decided for her, Ross and Rachel had discussed a few other names like 'Delilah' and 'Isabella'. The name Emma was originally chosen by Monica for a future daughter, of hers, but was given to Rachel upon seeing how much she liked it. And thus Emma was given her name - Emma Green Geller.

Emma lived with her parents, Rachel and Ross a short period of time, while she was a baby. The two adults used to sing 'Baby Got Back' for the youngster, attempting to make her laugh, as it seemed like this was the only way to actually make her laugh. Mother, Rachel, was afraid of admitting that she could not make Emma laugh any other way. Soon enough the two roomies, Rachel and Ross, got into a fight which resulted Rachel to take Emma and move in with Joey, who became like some second father to Emma at that moment.

Of course, despite all the fighting and such, her parents got back in the end. The ended up married and the little family was reunited. Ever since then they have lived like a happy family should. Emma grew from baby to older and is now starting her first year in school.

Roleplay Sample:

Emma had been left home, of course having Uncle Joey as a baby sitter, as her parents had gone out. She was pretty mad, thinking that her parents would go out without her. She hated when they did that, sometimes she felt like they didn't want to be with her, like they hated her. She knew though, and was told this so many times, that this was not the chase - Mommy and Daddy just needed some time to themselves, sometimes, and they used that time by going out and leaving Emma at home with Joey or Phoebe.. Or Aunt Monica and Uncle Chandler, and their two kids. Really, thinking of it from this point of view, Emma suddenly didn't mind much - She had loads of fun with her Uncle Joey and Aunt Phoebe and when she was over at Aunt Monica and Uncle Chandlers house she would play with Jack an Erica.

Joey was being boring today though - he was just sitting in front of the TV. Emma stood up, stumbled over to the couch where he was laying, and leaned in to look at his face. She made a face as she saw his mouth wide open and his eyes closed. He was asleep. She crossed her arms, glaring angrily at her, so called, Uncle. Joey wasn't fun at all being with today! She wanted her Mommy! - Now she got mad again over her parents leaving her with Uncle Joey. She stomped her feet down on the floor and then marched into her room, where she lay down on her bed. "This is so unfair!" She mumbled, angrily, to herself. As she slipped her thumb into her mouth, she made a personal note to be really mad at her parents when they got home - She wouldn't run to them when they would open the door and yell out her name, no! she would stay in bed and wait for them to come to her.

Soon enough, the little girl drifted into sleep. Her sleeping was disturbed by nightmares though and, as she slept, she tossed and turned in her bed. Just when something bad was going to happen, in her dream, she heard her mother's voice cry out, in their house, and a door being slammed closed and she woke up. She listened; "Emma?.. We're home!.. Joey, what the hell are you doing sleeping on the couch? Where's Emma?!" Her mommy's voice!. Emma quickly got up from her bed, still recalling memories from her dream, and ran out to the living room, forgetting all about the personal note she had made to herself before falling asleep.
"MOMMY!" She cried out, running to her mother the fastest she could. Rachel opened her arms and Emma ran into them "Mommy! Mommy, I missed you!" The little girl cried out, as she held her mother tightly. Now she was safe.
