Arriving to Town

I walked down the street, letting out a small sigh before digging into the pocket of my suit, pulling out my phone. I checked my messages before lowering my phone back into my pocket. I walked down the street, heading for the hotel that I was staying at. I didn't plan on staying down here for long. I had to get back home to Port Charles but I had to make sure things were running smoothly at the casino first. I couldn't wait to go back to Port Charles and be with my wife and children. I missed them so much. I couldn't stand being away from them. I smiled slightly as I thought about the three of them. They changed my life. They gave me my first real family and a purpose, a reason to live. A reason to fight. I smiled slightly before continuing on down the street faster

Rory walked around lost in thoughts, she was here by herself, yet she missed her family very much but she had stuff to do before she was plaing to come back and that's what she was gonna do. Right now she thought that she needed a walk to clear her head and all. She had on her newst cloths, that she got a day before. Rory was so lost in her own thoughts that she wasn't even looking where she was going till she bumped in to someone. She signed then looked forward at the person she bumped in to. "Hi, i am so sorry i was not looking where i was going. I got a lot on my mind, you alright though?" she said looking at her with an apologizing look. "You see i am not usually like this, i swear to you. It almost never happens" she added, all this time talking pretty fast and all. The girl didn't want to make a bad impression or anything like that.

I looked up when I felt someone run into me, making me stop in my tracks. I blinked, coming out of my thoughts as I looked at the person that ran into me. I was about to tell them to watch where they were going but I stopped myself once I noticed that it was just a young woman. She couldn't possibly be over 24. Her eyes were the feature that stood out the most. She was very attractive to say the lease. 'Hi, i am so sorry i was not looking where i was going. I got a lot on my mind, you alright though' "Don't apologize..it's cool. I wasn't paying attention to where I was goin' anyways" I said to her, trying to make her feel more comfortable about this. I smoothed down my suit. I really didn't want her to be upset about anything. "Yeah..I'm alright..you?" I asked her, hoping that she was ok too

I gave her a weak smile, pausing for a second. I hoped that she wasn't worried about me. I wouldn't do anything to her. I wasn't that type of person. I hated people that would take advantage of that. The people who did that sort of thing were no people at all. I didn't think they deserved to be on the planet for that reason alone as well. "Really..it's ok" I said to her once again. "No harm, no foul" I said, giving her a weak smile. I paused for a second, shifting my weight from one foot to the other before holding out my hand toward her. "I'm Sonny" I said to her, deciding to leave out my last name. I didn't think she knew what my last name met. She didn't look like the type that was connected in or could handle the mob life and that was for the best

She looked down then back at him. Rory felt horribly bad about what that happened and wanted to make it up to him, if she could. Which she hoped that she could. Her blue eyes looked around then back at him, she watched people walked by before turning to look back at him. "Are you sure, sir? i didn't mean to bump in to you, i as so stupid. I should have payed more attention........, if i was smarter maybe that wouldn't have happen. Can i make it up to you somehow? so none of us were paying attention, is that what you are saying?" she said to him. She looked what he was doing and bite her bottom lip. "That's good, thank god. I was worried, i should make a note to myself, to pay more attention. I am OK, but i shouldn't be, i bumped in to you, i am such a horrible person" she said to him.

She smiled back a weak smile. She was slightly scared that he maybe a bad guy but something in side her told her not to worry about it. She hated bad people, that is why she tried to do what she could to help as many good people as she could. "OK then" she said to him. "OK then, good that it's OK and yeah" she said to him. She smiled a weak smile back then shock her hands a bit so that they won't hurt, being that standing on the same spot not moving for a while could hurt. She shock his hand:"i am Rory" she said to him, also with out a last name. She looked down then back at the guy.

'Are you sure, sir? i didn't mean to bump in to you, i as so stupid. I should have payed more attention........, if i was smarter maybe that wouldn't have happen. Can i make it up to you somehow? so none of us were paying attention, is that what you are saying'

I looked at her, blinking a few times. She was a talker that was for sure. I didn't know what question to answer first. I wasn't to good at being a conversationalist. It wasn't what I was good at. I wasn't good at this. I didn't know how to react to her. I wasn't to terribly great with people and I could sense she was in the same boat as I was in. Knowing that made it easier. I didn't want her to be uneasy around me though. That wasn't my intention but I didn't know how to help the matter without making it worst. Making things worst was after all what I was best at. "Yes..yes that's what I'm saying and your not...your not stupid. It was just a simple mistake..your allowed to have 'em" I said to her, giving her a weak smile. God knows I had plenty but I didn't add that. There was no point in informing her of that. It would open a can of worms that I didn't want open

'That's good, thank god. I was worried, i should make a note to myself, to pay more attention. I am OK, but i shouldn't be, i bumped in to you, i am such a horrible person'

"It's really ok" I said to her, giving her a weak smile. I nodded my head as she continued to babble away. I was use to babblers but I still didn't know how to take one's outside of the inner circle. I could ignore the one's in my circle just fine but anyone outside of the bubble, proved to be difficult. I watched as she offered her hand out before informing me that her name was Rory. I noticed that she didn't add a last name to it and in my business that always signaled something but I was a good judge of character. I could sense a threat a mile away and she didn't give me that feeling that couldn't be ignored. She seemed harmless. I studied her hand for a second before reaching out my hand as well, shaking hers. After a few seconds I retracted my hand before sliding it into the pockets of my suit. "Nice to meet you" I said to the young girl, politely

She looked at him closely, he seemed nice but a bit scary. However she ignored the scary part for now since the guy didn't hurt her so it was a plus. She looked around then back at him. " That is very kind of you, and we all make mistakes here and there, are we not? but will learn from them. It surely was a mistake, it wasn't even planed. Thanks for saying that i am not stupid." she said to him, smiling back at him. She was glad that he wasn't judging her by the mistake she made.

"Thank god, i was scared there" she said to him. Rory felt bad for bumping in to him but was glad that he understood that she didn't mean to bump in to him. She wasn't like that after all. Rory was a good girl, even if a bit naive and it was one she got in to a lot of trouble with out meaning to, since she was hanging with a wrong crowed, Logan and his friends were that wrong crowed. Lane, Dean and Jesse as well as Paris and her friends were the opposite, a good crowed even if miss understood. Meeting Sonny was rather interesting, he kinda reminded her of her dad but not by much though. She shock his hand and then took her hand away once he did. "Nice to meet you too"
