Lilly was sitting on the beach just eating a ice cream wondering were her friends where. She had not see any of then all day ad was hoping to find someone to talk to, heck she would talk to anyone right now because she was so bored. Lilly tapped her feet together as she sat on a towel on the sand and hummed out of tune.

Van at the moment was playing football. Why he was playing football by the beach was unknown. He missed his wife Cheyenne at the moment. He didn't know where she was but he couldn't wait to see her again. He was throwing the ball and he ran toward the ball trying to catch it but ended up tripping over some woman named Lilly.
He got up and then grabbed the ball. He looked at her and felt a little embarrassed. He said the most stupidest thing or possibly the smartest thing at a time like this. It was either really dumb or really smart, well one of those. "Sorry! Oh and Hello, I'm married! I mean i'm Van who's married!"
He calmed down for a moment and took a deep breathe. He looked back up to her and tried it again. "What I mean is, I'm Van Montgomery! Sorry for tripping over you, I was was playing football and I threw it too far and when I went to get it I tripped over you!" he said as he got quiet.
He looked around and seen other people coming and going from the beach. The beach waters seemed to be moving at a reasonable pace. The winds at the beach that day blew occasionally and it was real sunny outside. There were a lot of seagulls flying through the air. He waited for Lilly to say something. He hoped that she wasn't mad about him tripping over her.
His wife was taking too long. He didn't know where she was anyway. He hoped that she would hurry up soon because if she seen him talking to another woman she'd go ballistic. Although he didn't understand why she would, she should trust him. He would never cheat on her because he loves her but Cheyenne sometimes found other women as competition.
Van loved Cheyenne and he knew that Cheyenne loved him too. They had a family of their own together and he wouldn't change that for the world. Cheyenne just needed to trust him like he trusts her. He knew that she would never cheat on him so she should know that he would never do that either. Why would he stoop so low? He wouldn't. He'd rather die than cheat on his wife.
He looked at Lilly and continued to wait for an answer. She seemed to be quiet, than again other than the people talking in the background the whole beach was quiet. He let the wind blow against him. The wind felt good blowing slowly against his face. Van seen a Seagull take a fish out of the water. "Now that's awesome!" he thought.

Making his way down on the warm sandy beach was a black cat, walking as if he were a completely normal beach-goer. In fact, he even wore a pair of sunglases and a Hawaiian style button up-shirt which was just his size. Quitely, he was humming- seemingly not caring if people noticed him or not. It was about time he got out of the house.
He looked up, seeing two youngsters (at least they were young by his standards- he was over 500 years old!) talking to each other. The black cat snickered, looking the young man up and down and listening as he messed up his introduction. "Can't even get your own words right? Cat got your tongue?" Salem couldn't help but laugh at his own little pun, though quickly regretted saying anything at all. People weren't supposed to know he could talk! Sure, they could see him dressed up- people dressed up their pets all the time. "...Meow?"

Pulling her headphones out of her ears Lilly looked up at the guy who tripped over and listen to him speak. he was talking like he was confused for a moment telling her he was married. "Well hello Van who is married,I am Lilly who is not married " Lilly laughed " It is ok really If I could count how many times I tripped over someone at the beach I would be in like the billions or something. I get clumsy sometimes." Lilly dusted off her feet that were cover in sand. "Nothing seems hurt or broken" She said smiling up at him. He was really tall and looked like he could be a football player. "So do you play football regularly?"
As she spoke she saw a black cat in a shirt and a sunglasses come up near her Lilly looked at the cat weirdly for a moment then it meowed so she stuck her hand out to pet it. "hey Van this is a pretty Weird cat do you think?

Van looked over to her and nodded and then shook his head. "No my name is not Van who is married! I'm Van Montgomery, but I'm am married."
He heard her ask him about football and he nodded." Oh yeah, I played football for years! Just ask my wife, she was a cheerleader!" he said with a smile.
He then seen a cat talking and his eyes widened. "A talking cat! Is it me or did that cat talk to me? I must be losing my mind! I need to show this to Mrs. H! I can make money off this, I can get me that new Flat Screen TV I wanted! Back up kitty, I know the force! Obi Wan taught me in Episode Two when I watched it last night on TBS! Cheyenne may think I'm dumb...but I know that my priorities!"

Cheyenne finally arrived at the beach, and parked in a spot closest to the sandy path leading to the ocean. Shutting the car off, she couldn't help but look up in the rear view mirror to make sure she hadn't smudged her make-up on the way there. After a close 3 1/2 minute inspection she decided that she was decent to get out of the car. Grabbing her designer beach bag off the passenger seat of the car, she slid out of the drivers seat and shut the door securely behind her.
Once out of the car, she adjusted her bathing suit top and looked herself over in the reflection of the car's side windows. She adjusted her wide brimmed sun hat many different ways until it sat right on her head and looked good. She whipped it off quickly though and kicked it under the car when she saw a heavyset woman about in her 70's waddle by with the same exact hat.
Looking around to make sure no one saw her with the same hat as grandma she was relieved to find no one was gaping at her with disgust. Boy, they sure would have if they'd seen her wearing that hat! Flipping her hair she began walking towards the beach in a pair of cut off jeans, flip flops, and white bikini top with blue polka dots. On top of her head rested a pair of sun glasses and she carried her sun bag over her right shoulder with a white towel slung around her neck. It wasn't until she was about half way to the oceans edge that she realized she'd forgotten Elizabeth in the car.
"Ohh!!" she gasped wheeling around and running back to the car. Luckily the sweet angel had only just awaken from her nap and hadn't realized mommy was gone. Yanking open the back door of their car she grabbed the toddler from her car seat. "Oh Elizabeth! I'm so sorry baby girl!" she kissed the sleepy child's little rosey cheeks and shut the car door.
Turning back towards the beach, she now set off with her daughter resting on her right hip, and the beach bag slung around her left shoulder. It didn't take Cheyenne to spot her husband Van. He wasn't far away and seemed to be talking to someone. Strolling down the beach towards her husband, she murmured to little Elizabeth. "Lizzy, look who it is! It's daddy!" she said in an excited tone pointing down the beach. "Daddy!!!" the little one squeaked excitedly clapping her hands.
It wasn't until that moment that Cheyenne noticed Van seemed to be talking to someone... Who was that? It didn't look like one of her friends... No... Could he be flirting?! Or was the little tramp trying to suck her innocent husband in? Cheyenne's stroll turned into a huffy march.
When she got a little closer, she put on a tight smile. "Van!! My darling husband!!" She pretended not to notice the little blond sitting at his feet as she walked up and stepped half way between the two. "Daddy!!!" Elizabeth said excitedly outstretching her arms towards her father. "That's right baby girl, it's your daddy!!! Van, love, I think your daughter wants to see you!" Cheyenne smiled up at her husband and held the squirming toddler towards him.

Salem looked up at Lily as she called him 'weird'. He probably would have retaliated had he not been trying to act like a normal cat. The black cat brushed up against her hand befor hearing Van talk yet again. This guy wasn't exactly the sharpest tool in the shed, was he?
"Wow, you're a smooth one." He said sarcastically. "The force is strong within you, dumb beachwalker." Salem snickered again, figuring that this guy was so dim that people probably wouldn't believe him if he told anyone about a talking cat. Another voice joined into the group- a woman's voice which was followed by a young girl's sqeaky yet adorable cry for her father. So he had a kid? That was a bit of a shocker. The young girl reminded Salem of his own daughter, who was of course a human.

Van was still confused. He was waiting for his wife to arrive and finally he seen a woman walking towards him with a a baby in hand. He knew then that it was his wife Cheyenne and his daughter Elizabeth. Van was glad that he told Lilly about Cheyenne. When Cheyenne got up to him they greeted him and he greeted Cheyenne with a kiss on the lips. "Hey Cheyenne! I'm so glad to see you, I was waiting for you!" he said with a smile. He then looked over to Lilly.
"This is my wife Cheyenne and my daughter Elizabeth?" he said smiling. He then grabbed his daughter Elizabeth and held her in his arms. "How's daddy little girl?" he said with a smile. He kissed his daughters cheek and then looked back at his wife with a smile. "So is everything alright, I've been waiting here for quite a while, I got a little worried!" he seen her ten minutes ago. He was just too dumb to know that it has only been ten minutes.
He loved his wife and he knew that his wife loved him even though he was slow at times. As he looked at his wife he thought that she was so beautiful. To him, Cheyenne was the most beautiful girl he has ever layed eyes on. He took a moment and paused. He looked at Cheyenne and then at Lilly and then he looked at that cat and heard it talk again. He gave it a weird look and then looked at his wife. "Babe, don't look at that cat...I know this sounds silly...but....he talks....HE TALKS....this cat talked to me! He called me a dumb beach walker did you hear that?"
He looked back at the cat and spoke "I'm not a dumb beach walker and don't talk that way in front of my wife and daughter or I'll....get a random dog to chase after you! I will do it!" he gave him a serious look and then looked back at his wife Cheyenne and gave smiled as he held his daughter gently in his arms.
"Sorry about that,....I had to take care of an issue!" he said with a crooked smile. He hoped that it was just a dream or Cheyenne heard the cat talk too. Lilly seemed to have heard it so Cheyenne must have heard it when he was called a dumb beach walker. If he was the only one who heard it then he would think that he was really actually going nuts but he knew that Cheyenne had to have . He felt confused because of the cat talking but he felt love because Cheyenne and Elizaheard it because Lilly noticed it too. He waited for his wife or Lilly to say something as he held his daughter Elizabeth was there. He was having mixed feelings at the moment.

"Hey Cheyanne, I'm Lilly. Van Tripped over my feet. Not that me feet are big or anything but Van here sure did not miss them." Lilly laughed and stood up. She brushes a bit of sand of her legs before holding her hand out to Cheyanne." Its nice to meet you and Elizabeth, she is such a cute little girl." Lilly looked back at the cat. "That thing is weird My friend Miley and I have done some weird things but we have never made a cat talk before"[/b

OoC: I apologize for anything derrogatory Salem says, it's just his character. xP I have no personal vendettas or quarrels against any of you- you're all great! :3
Salem made a "hmph!" noise at Van's "threat", not believing that he would do it. "Just listening to you makes my IQ drop 20 points!" He laughed before looking at Lily. "Weird? You are looking at the future ruler of the world!" The former warlock added with a sinister chuckle. He looked back at Van and his family. "Even I have to hand it to you- you're kid is pretty cute. Reminds me of my own little pumpkin."
