Name: Sara Sidle
Age: 36
What Show he or her is from: CSI: Crime Scene Investigation
What is your character's appearance?
Personality: (A Paragraph) Sara is a very strong and passionate woman and she puts her effort into her work one hundred percent. She was a bit of a loner when she first joined CSI and her whole life was centered around her work completely. She was quiet and didn't really talk to her co-workers. She stated that she would rather spend time with the corpses then the actual real people at this time. Sara did eventually break from her shell though and she opened up much more getting involved in several short relationships but she was still looking more positive and outside of work.
Sara is a bit opinionated on some things and she can be one that is quick to annoy. She will debate almost anyone who disagrees with her. Depending on which way the debate goes, Sara could most certainly lose her temper and breakdown. This is one of her rougher traits and she tends to hold herself back a bit not always being so trusting, partly due to her past. She does have a very soft side which is expressed in some of the cases that she works on and she can break down into tears because they touch her so much.
Bio: (Two Paragraphs) Sidle was born in Tamales Bay, an hour and a half outside San Francisco. Her father was abusive, battering both his wife and children, until Sidle's mother, Laura, killed him in 1984. Afterward, she spent time in the foster care system, which didn't keep her from graduating high school as valedictorian at age 16. She attained a scholarship and attended Harvard, moving on to graduate school at the University of California, Berkeley. While at Berkeley, she started a work-study position at the San Francisco Coroner’s office, she would also audit lectures to keep up with new developments, it was at one of these that she met Gil Grissom.
Some time later, while she was working in San Francisco, Grissom called her because he was in need of someone outside the Las Vegas team. Sidle then went to Las Vegas and helped resolve some internal affairs problems within the CSIs. Later she became a permanent member of the Las Vegas crime scene investigators night shift and is currently a CSI Level III at the LVPD Criminalistics Bureau, specialising in materials and element analysis.
Sara was very passionate about her work and during the first few years of her job, her whole life was revolved around her job completely and she didn't take time to do anything else. Eventually, Sara realized what she was doing and how she really should set out for a life away from work. She decided to live a little and she became more relaxed and she looked to have more fun outside of work.
Sara had developed a soft side for some of the cases and they started to get to her more and more. She broke down a bit when she saw some of the horrible things that were happening to these people such as murder and rape and she was beginning to lose herself in the cases. She also developed a relationship with the supervisor of the night-shift, Gil Grissom.
{Is it alright if I play her as if she is still apart of CSI? Because I just like her better apart of it. She left this season for those who aren't familair with CSI}
Likes: - Her Work - Forensic Journals - Grissom - Solving Cases - Figuring things out
Dislikes: - Her past - Horrible people - Death - Failing - Catherine {At first}
Strengths: - Passionate - Clever - Strong willed - Caring
Weaknesses: - Stubborn - Short-tempered - Weak in certain cases
Roleplay Sample: Sara Sidle walked into the CSI lab ready for another day at work. She really didn't mind going to her job like a lot of people did. Heck she actually loved coming to work. Her work was just so important to her and she loved to solve any sort of cases. She was currently working on apart of a murder case, which seemed to be the ones that they always did the most. The thought of murder always made her sad. Of course worst things could happen but still just the fact that someone's life had been taking away always touched her. She could be sensative about things like this.
She went over to the corpse of the victim to do some work. A bullet had gone through his chest and one of the other scientists had already opened it. She wondered why no one else was working on the body though. She figured that she should take her turn at it though and with that she took a pair of white gloves and put them on her hands. She was always careful when examining a corpse, since you didn't want to lose any of the evidence. She studied the opening where the bullet had gone through carefully. The bullet had been removed and was on the tray beside her.
She examined the bullet carefully. Such a horrible weapon that guns could be. When in the wrong hands they were one of the most dangerous things that one could have. And that seemed to be the case for this guy. Such a shame...
